Tete Foundation in collaboration with Reliance Tanzania Ltd and DTB Bank Dodoma Branch have donated an assortment of gifts to Hopes Disabilities Centre of Chalinze District Council in Bagamoyo, Pwani Region.
Handing over the donation, Tete Executive Director and Founder Ms Suzan Senso said during her firm’s campaign dubbed ‘’We trust in you,” which helpd raise funds for the cause, it was established that the centre, located in Miono ward, was facing multiple challenges and needed more support than any other.
“We discovered, for example that a child uses only one exercise book to write all subjects in the class. We thank everyone who donated money to help these children,’’ said Senso.
Thanking Tete Foundation for the donation on behalf of the centre, the Councilor for Miono who is also Deputy Chairman for Chalinze District Council, wished the firm well, saying he hoped it would extend the same support to other wards in future.
