Makungu swaps places with his Rukwa counterpart, Gerald Musabila Kusaya, a former Ministry of Agriculture Permanent Secretary and Commissioner General of the Drug Control and Enforcement Authority.

In Mara region, the transfers have also touched Tarime District Commissioner Lt Col Michael Mangwela Mtenjele who goes to Tandahimba district in Mtwara region.

Mtenjele’s position is taken over by Col Maulid Hassan Surumbu who moves from Mkinga district in Tanga region.
