A deputy minister in the Union government, Rahma Riyadh Kisuo, has lost her cabinet post in a minor change made by President Samia Suluhu Hassan yesterday.
Kisuo was a deputy minister in the Prime Minister's Office responsible for Labour, Employment and Relations and was appointed last year following the general election.
In a brief State House statement released by Chief Secretary Dr Moses Kusiluka in Dar es Salaam, President Samia has instead appointed nominated Member of Parliament Dr Evaline Wilbard Munisi to replace Kisuo.
President Samia made a swap of two permanent secretaries in which Eliakim Maswi moves from the Ministy of Justice and Constitutional Affairs to the Ministry of Community Development, Gender, Women and Special Groups exchanging with Dr John Jingu.
