President Samia Suluhu Hassan is expected to arrive in Mwanza region tomorrow for a three day visit.
Making a brief statement here over the weekend, Mwanza Regional Commissioner Amos Makalla said the President will attend the Bujola Sukuma Cultural festival on Tuesday.
According to the RC, on Wednesday June 14 President Samia will inspect the work progress of the Kigongo-Busisi bridge project which is expected to link Mwanza region with the Western part of the country, as well as neighboring Eastern African countries upon completion.
The same day will also see the Head of State touring the ongoing construction of the largest passenger ship in East Africa Mv Mwanza ‘Hapa Kazi Tu’ whose assembling is now at 85 percent.
Another President’s activity of the day will involve paying visit and launching the five star NSSF tourist hotel which is the biggest such facility in the entire Lake Zone regions.
The President will also use the occasion to talk to wananchi before she leaves the rock city the following day on Thursday, June 15, 2023.
