Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa yesterday inaugurated a multimillion Msisi Zanzibar water project in Sazira ward in Bunda town.
The project has been designed to supply 100,000 litres of water to a population of 182,979 people.
Speaking after the launch of the project, Majaliwa promised that more water would be added to the project from the nearby Lake Victoria.
He appealed to Bunda residents to continue trusting the Sixth Phase Government under President Samia Suluhu Hassan’s leadership for its resolve to bring development to the people in every sector of the economy.
“You should continue to trust your government. The projects being implemented are for you in line with the 2020-2025 CCM Manifesto,” he said.
The Prime Minister is in Mara region for a five day- working tour.
