The Grace Entertainment and Promotion will stage a huge show dubbed Mara Intercultural Festival 2025 in which various tribal groups in the region will compete in traditional dances and games, it has been disclosed.

Grace Entertainment & Promotion director general, Ms Grace Revocatus , said in rece week that one of the festival’s main goals is to mobilise people for development as Mara region is endowed potential investment opportunities.

“The mission of this festival is to mobilise Mara regional residents in the diaspora to come back and invest in cultural tourism,” she said.

“We’re organising the Mara Intercultural Festival to honour our tribal traditional dances and to promote the available potential opportunities for local and foreign investors,” she added.

Shija said her company will reward tribal groups which will excel in the competition and those which will devote their time to take part in the festival.

The competition is planned for May 23 at the Obwere ground in Shirati in Rorya district.

 The festival is also expected to be held in other places of Mara as planned. On May 30, it will be held in Musoma while on June 7 and 14 it will be held in Serengeti and Nyamongo respectively.

This event will reach its climax on July 4 and 5 at the Serengeti grounds, also known as Uwanja wa Bibi.
